As a result of last weekend's bug bash, there are now zero priority 1 bugs in .LRN. There are 25 priority 2 bugs, of which 5 are in the 5-2 branch, and hence not applicable to .LRN 2.1.3. Therefore, I will release .LRN 2.1.3 release candidate 1 as soon as possible. We can then proceed to work on getting .LRN 2.2 ready.

The last severity 1 bug has been fixed (#2470). Please, someone can close it.

After comprobation of bugs with priority 2, severity 1 and 2, we have 11 prio2/sev2 bugs left:

Resolved, can be closed:

  1. #2470 (sev1): site-wide admin properties can be changed by dotlrn-admin (dotlrn)
  2. #2405 (sev2): move folder or url link between folders in file-storage does not work (File Storage)
  3. #2250 (sev2): maximum cont length (Lars Blogger)

So, who is supposed to close these bugs? I have noticed that I cannot close a bug I had opened...

My impresion is that the bug-tracker is buggy. :-) Also, sometimes I don't get notifications, sometimes too many...

Can someone tell me the URL for the official .LRN test servers? Are there separate ones for Oracle and Postgres? And who maintains the servers? Thanks.

There is no such a thing currently. We need to setup them. Mannheim could provide a test server for Postgres.

OK. I spoke with Roc and ELane apparently has a test server for both Postgres and Oracle. We might be able to use those as the official test server. We will discuss this in the weekly chat today #openacs IRC channel at 21:00 UTC.

Me and other members have asked a few times if we can link to these servers (http://strauss.gast.it.uc3m.es/) from openacs' homepage and possibly reinstate test.openacs.org. Is there something against that?

Just to confirm what Al mentioned since I'm not sure I can make it to the Chat today.

Yes, within the E-LANE project we have the test servers in the address included in a prvious post (http://strauss.gast.it.uc3m.es). We also have a person in charge, Eduardo Pérez (eduardo.perez@uc3m.es).

Please contact him with whatever requests you may have.
