I am currently running OpenAcs 4.6 with postgres 7.2.  It is becoming increasingly important for me to upgrade to postgres 7.3.4 which contains enhancements that I desire.

Can someone in this forum tell me if it is OK to upgrade to postgres 7.3.4 while maintaining version 4.6 of OpenAcs?

If so, are there any issues, (such a drivers etc.) that I need to know about before attempting this?  Or where can I find upgrade information that will provide me with that information?

There are some issues with upgrading. See the Administration FAQ:

You should also look at the compatibility matrix on the HEAD documentation. I believe Postgres 7.3.x is only valid for OpenACS 4.6.3 and above.
