Forum OpenACS Q&A: PostgreSQL 7.1 RC2 to be released tomorrow

I just saw this in the pgsql-hackers list:

Just a heads up for anyone that might have something outstanding ...
I'm going to package her early evening (~18:30AST) and announce it to
both pgsql-hackers and pgsql-announce when done...

Once RC2 goes out, its meant to be a "this is what we'd release if
docs were completely ready to go" ...

Which means that tomorrow's release is the final release, with some missing corrections to the docs. No need to wait anylonger :)

Thanks for the heads-up, Roberto.  Is 3.2.5 going to be tested for
both PG 7.0.3 and PG 7.1RC2?

I am testing it on RC1 and RC2 (have RC1 now, will have RC2 tomorrow ;)). I know there are people testing on 7.0.3.

Dan hasn't given me the ok an that intranet patch yet. As of this morning he was discussing it with Chris Hardy (author of the patch).
