Please do not throw stones. I know that people have worked really hard
on openacs for apache.  I just wondered if there were any plans to try
to port the acs-templating system and if so would I be able to use it
with postgresql. I would try to help with this project.

acs templating will be ported as part of the OpenACS4.x project.  As far as Apache goes, I don't know - we need a volunteer willing to be the point man on that task, someone familiar with Apache and mod_aolserver.  So far no one's volunteered.  Since aD's not going to be supporting this in the future, it will have to be a volunteer from our camp...
