Forum OpenACS Q&A: Default permissions in package file-storage

I'm testing the package file-storage to ver. 5.1.0a4 of the branch oacs-5-1 of the CVS.

For defect in the "Inherited Permissions":
  -"Members of Class-X, write"

Where I can adjust the permissions so that this it doesn't happen?

In the file-storage of the new classes that I will create, I don't want the members to write.

Thanks.

One example:

The Permissions for "Nom_class" Files
Inherited Permissions:
  Members of c004s033a00000, read
  Members of c004s033a00000, write
  Members of c004s033a00000, create
  Admins of c004s033a00000, admin

we should "Don't Inherit Permissions from File Storage",
because we don't want the members to write or to create in the file-storage.

How we could make so that for defect the permissions are not inherited?

Thanks

I think you can do this from the site-map, click on permissions, and then click don't inherit permissions.

Hi!

Thanks for your answer, but I would want that for defect the permissions were not inherited, a student he should not be able to write in the file-storage of a class.

Thanks
