As I see it, the idea for AMS came about for associating scalar attributes. SSP is an expansion on that idea (as I see it). For an SSP, think JotSpot.com that can handle tables (maybe it does). I'll be glad to elaborate, but that's OT here. Anyway, just trying to think of AMS cases..
