Forum OpenACS CMS: Check out aD's latest UI specs

I don't know if anybody has been following the CMS progress
over at aD very closely, but if you haven't yet read their latest UI
specification, it is well worth the read:

http://developer.arsdigita.com/acs-java/cms/panels/

Sadly, the link to the wireframes doesn't appear to be working at
the moment. At any rate, these specifications look outstand and
provide a good model not only for the CMS UI but also for
thinking about UI in general.

Wireframes can be found at http://developer.arsdigita.com/acs-java/user-centered/wireframe/.

They're not complete, but they do give you an idea of what's coming.

Just a note for newbies:

Due to incompatibilities between the GPL arsDigita's new
software license, we can't look at their code, their
documentation, or even their wireframes anymore. Please
disregard my suggestion at the top of this thread.

The AD stuff reminds me quite a bit of My Yahoo. Yahoo has done a nice job of providing pluggable modules of UI with a non-glamorous, functional, appearance.
