Forum OpenACS Development: Xinha 0.96b (Phoenix)

Dear all,

I have updated CVS head (acs-templating) with the new beta release of Xinha (called 0.96b Phoenix). It contains more than 50 fixes and several functional improvements relative to 0.95. It looks nicer and feels much faster than before. The OacsFS plugin continues to work, same with the xinha inline editing functionality in xowiki forms.

For an update from CVS, use the -d option (cvs update -d), since several directories are new.

Make sure, to remove obsolete plugins from the package parameters of acs-templating, such as "FullScreen" (it is now a standard functionality). If one tries to use the old version, one can run into problems were the loading of internatialization fails.

Most likely, we should make a minimal list of xinha plugins the default (e.g. only OacsFs).

Please note that the plugin names are case-sensitive so it should be "OacsFs", lower case s.

Otherwise, Xinha will not load, as it can't find the "OacsFS" plugin.
