Something that causes lots of trouble to OpenACS starters is outdated documentation. The problem is that there's somewhat updated documentation in CVS:
http://cvs.openacs.org/cvs/openacs-4/packages/acs-core-docs/www/xml/
but there's outdated documentation in the home page:
https://openacs.org/doc/current/
Shouldn't there be some automated procedure that takes the documentation from the xml sources and puts it online?
