Maybe it's in the Portland air [I'm in SE PDX]... but then I also like the pronunciation of "ox" for "oacs" --something about oxen as multiple-utility animals in third-world communities as an analogy, a shade of GPL evangelism, and not wanting a pretentious name that few [of my potential clients] can relate to...
