Hi everyone,

The first version of videos package has been released.

You can download it only type a command:

svn co http://svn.softwarepublico.gov.br/svn/openacs/packages/videos/

I don't have the CVS login to put it in a tree of openacs, anybody, can do it?

I have worked in this package since 2008 and now we have one stable version. The documentation is in folder /doc/, sure, though have a lot to do, but this is the begin.

We use this package in a lot of websites, examples:

http://www.mda.gov.br/
http://portal.mda.gov.br/feira2009/
http://portal.mda.gov.br/terralegal/
http://portal.mda.gov.br/arcoverde/

And in a .LRN communities.

HTML5 can be implemented with few changes and this package already work with MP4 format.

That's it.

Hi Emmanuelle and Carl,

I'm so sorry for this stupid error, the correct command was:

svn co http://svn.softwarepublico.gov.br/svn/openacs/trunk/packages/videos/

Yes Carl, I'm trying get a time to do it and I hope to contribute more.

Thanks,
Alessandro

Hi Alessandro,

It's great to see you starting to contribute some of the amazing work you all are doing with OpenACS in the Brazilian government!

It looks like the packages folder wasn't added to your external svn instance.

Looking forward to taking a look when you fix this.

Carl
