Forum OpenACS Q&A: Open ACS Administration ?

Hi All,

I have installed Open ACS 5.1.5 on RHEL 4 system. When the installtion was complete, it showed me a form for getting an administrator's info. I filled the form & restarted the machine.
After rebooting, It shows a default page in browser for "http://yourserver:8000" url. When I try to login as an administrator (the info given in form earlier), it shows "Unknown Email" I registered once again with same info then it directly approved my login as normal user without waiting for administrator's apporval

It does not gives any administrative rights & I am not able to login as admin to server.

Can you please help me ?

Hey,
I found the solution. Actually I had made a silly mistake.

My Admin email Id was mistyped so It was not allowing me to go in.

I corrected that & configured the user setting also to require admin's approval
