We just went live with dotLRN (SloanSpace v2). I want to thank the
OpenForce team for creating an architectural gem.

Congratulations.  I've been curious, who did the graphic design for SloanSpace v2?  It looks really good.

Where can we see what it looks like, Don?

Sloan worked with Mark Tatro of Rotate Graphics, http://wwww.rotategraphics.com.  we are VERY pleased with his work for us.  He was incredibly easy to work with, too.

Anyone who wants to see the new SloanSpace can go to sloanspace.mit.edu.  Login name: mailto:testguest@mit.edu.  Password: test

This is a limited access user with three groups: a demo class and community, and the STS-Sloanwide community, through which I disseminate user info, but there are no privacy issues to worry about because the People page is suppressed.  Testguest is also an admin for the Demo class, so you can see both the user and admin view of things.  Enjoy, be kind, don't expect it to be perfect yet.

There are things we are working on:  integrating the new Homework feature, Survey module, the calendar is broken right now (this am, but will be fixed shortly), the User and Admin handbook is in progress, and there are some other items listed in the STS-Sloanwide.

Beautiful site... Well done.

Just a quick question though. How long is the demo account going to be 'alive' for?

This site would be a wonderful showcase for openACS and dotLRN, while the site redesign (read online-demo) is underway.

The demo account can stay active indefinitely since it contains no sensitive information and I will be sure to remember to NOT manipulate that account's memberships when I do my own trainings, etc. for Sloan people.

It looks great!  Cleaner and meaner!
