I'm off for an appointment, but thougbt I'd give you an update.
Removing the width=100% attributes in the table and td tags, and replacing them with fixed pixel values works as intended. So for large tables, at this point, a table of 518 wide (9 + 500 + 9, or 1 + 8 + 500 + 8 + 1) works with the code, but this means issuing code with fixed widths (possibly calculated via the adp template?)... I know this is not what is needed.
I'll continue working on flexible td width options later today..
