Does anyone has developed a method to import (or better sync) entries
from Outlook or iCal to dotLRN? I watched the discussion on export
iCalendar-Format from dotLRN to Outlook and i wonder if there's a
import function included?

Oliver, as you know there is an calendar event download function in dotLRN (that works with Outlook/Palm Desktop/Apple iCal etc.), but it is not perfect yet. The main problem is missing time zone information. Moving information from calendar software to OpenACS would be neat, but first we need to make sure the opposite works like it should.

Yes Oliver, I am currently working on the Outlook->dotLRN part of the synchronization as part of my thesis project. It will most likely involve the user uploading an iCal file which will be parsed and entered into the calendar. It could therefore be used with other iCal-based calendaring software apart from just Outlook.
