Forum .LRN Q&A: dotLRN in Spanish?

Collapse
Posted by Caroline Meeks on
I ran into a friend of mine that works for LASPAU which, among other things, does seminars on strategic IT usage for universities in Latin America. She is going to get me in touch with the directors there.

Does anyone have a dotLRN site up in Spanish yet?

Caroline, did you get in touch with Eve? I'm pretty sure her university in Guatemala isn't using dotLRN, but they're definitely using ACS of some flavor, and it's in Spanish.

I did a little looking around as I was researching the i18n work... there are a few people running ACES/ACS in Spanish.

Caroline,
we are still running the site with ACES (http://dev.iued.uned.es) but we will start the migration to dotLRN in 1 (or 2, hope less) month.

Before summer, the http://miempresa.net site (maintened by http://www.mirabase.com) was running under dotLRN half-translated to spanish, if I remember well, but it seems to be unreachable at this time.

On this point, we are interested to participate with the i18n initiative, I don't know if this project has started yet or not.

Rocael has done several sites using ACES and probably dotLRN now.
