Forum OpenACS Q&A: "Failed to install ACS Kernel, version 4.6.. [really 4.5x]" but that's okay!

I'm following the installation directions for OpenACS4.5 on a FreeBSD/intel system ( http://www.orchardlabs.com/library/freebsd/openacs ) for a local LAN. After clicking on the "Next" button from the Welcome page, the following appears at the bottom of the page:

Done installing the OpenACS kernel data model.

Failed to install ACS Kernel, version 4.6. The following error was generated:

invalid command name "lang::catalog::reset_upgrade_status_message_keys"

Package enabled.

Loading package .info files ... this will take a few minutes

Done loading package .info files

...followed by the "Next" button.

Checking the aolserver-error, pgsql errlog logs only seems to indicate truncating names such as this message:

NOTICE: identifier "apm_package_version__version_name_greater" \
will be truncated to "apm_package_version__version_na"

The openacs source originates from a recent 'cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@openacs.org:/cvsroot co acs-core'.

As an alternate, I just downloaded and tried the 4.6beta1 tarball with success! (to the Create Admin page). Looking forward to beta testing... =)

Okay... I haven't figured out the cvs tree yet, so maybe it's not really 4.5x... maybe its 4.6x.. anyway... onward hence to a happy new year. cheers!
Torsten,
sorry about this problem, it should be fixed now on cvs HEAD. Please cvs update and try again.

/Peter

Thank you, Peter. 4.6.1 loads/builds fine now.

cheers!
