Is the CVS web interface down or has it moved? I thought https://openacs.org/cvs or http://dev.openacs.org:8000/cvs would get me there but they don't now.

As long as I'm on the subject, is the web CVS interface by any chance based on ViewCVS? I ask because I have a behind-the-corporate-firewall problem and can't use the pserver. A suggestion to use CVSGrab was made by the sysadmin, but I don't think that will work....

The server is there and running (both urls should work), I suspect you might be firewalled from the high port server as well. It's running cvsweb not viewcvs but not for any particular reason other than that was what I had set up at the time.

Yes that must be it -- the corporate firewall got thicker sometime in the last few days because CVS access worked fine last week -- and still works fine from home.
